Professional School Of Motoring

True advanced driving is based very much on the system required to take and pass a Police course - but without the high speeds used when driving on "blues and twos".

By refining your forward planning and observation skills, you will usually find yourself in the best place on the road, in a good gear, and with optimum car control. Not only will you then be as safe as possible - you'll also be saving money on both fuel and vehicle wear and tear.

There's no magic involved. It's just good, sensible driving technique and makes the most of modern vehicle technology and equipment. Although there's no theory test involved, you'll need a sound working knowledge of the Highway Code and the driving book "Roadcraft" - but the system to use is also clearly explained in IAM RoadSmart's or RoSPA's information.
